Expertise and Experience
Dr. Gray is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, parenting issues, adjustment to medical illness, adjustment to life stressors, and grief/bereavement issues. Dr. Gray utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach with family systems, behavioral parent training, and mindfulness techniques to help clients reach their full potential. Dr. Gray has 25 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist helping children, adolescents, and adults with a range of presenting problems. Dr. Gray also enjoys providing professional consultation services to other psychologists.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Gray held positions at major medical centers across the United States. Most recently, she was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. At Stanford, she enjoyed providing clinical services to medically complex children and their families, supervising psychology trainees, and participating in psychological research.
Dr. Gray earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida Department of Clinical and Health Psychology in 1998. She completed internship at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, and fellowship at Nemours Children's Clinic/Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
